AI-Generated Tasks
Let Optiverse automatically extract and create tasks from your meeting discussions.
Optiverse listens for commitments, assignments, and action items during your meetings and automatically surfaces them as tasks. No manual note-taking required. The AI understands who agreed to do what and when.
How Action Item Detection Works
After a meeting is processed, Optiverse analyzes the transcript for:
- Explicit commitments ("I'll send the proposal by Friday")
- Assignments ("Mario has to follow up with the client")
- Agreed-upon next steps ("Let's schedule a review for next week")
- Implied tasks from decisions ("We decided to migrate, someone needs to create the plan")
These appear as action items on the recording page with checkboxes.

From Action Item to Full Task
Click any action item to expand it:
- AI generates a full task description, context-aware, pulling relevant details from the conversation
- Responsible person is identified, based on who volunteered or was assigned during the discussion
- Deadline is extracted, if a timeframe was mentioned in the conversation
The AI understands natural conversation patterns. Even without perfect speaker labels, it recognizes phrases like "I will do X" or "Can you handle Y?" to correctly assign responsibility.

Pushing Tasks to Your Tools
Once an action item is expanded, push it to:
- Optiverse Boards, your built-in Kanban task management
- Microsoft Planner, for teams using the Microsoft ecosystem
- Connected task management tools, via integrations and webhooks
Select the destination, confirm the details, and the task is created with a link back to the source meeting.

Managing Tasks on the Recording Page
You can manage action items directly on the recording page:
- Check off completed tasks, mark items as done without leaving the page
- Edit descriptions, refine the AI-generated text if needed
- Reassign, change the responsible person
- Skip items, not every detected action item needs to become a formal task
Task Properties
Each AI-generated task includes:
| Property | Source |
|---|---|
| Description | AI-generated from meeting context |
| Responsible person | Detected from conversation ("I'll do it" / "Mario should handle this") |
| Deadline | Extracted if mentioned ("by Friday", "next sprint", "end of month") |
| Source meeting | Automatic link to the originating recording |
Consolidated Task Views via Knowledge Hub
Use the Knowledge Hub to get a bird's-eye view of tasks across all your meetings:
- "What are all my open action items from this week's meetings?"
- "What did I commit to in yesterday's calls?"
- "List all tasks assigned to [person] from the last 30 days"
- "Are there any overdue action items from the project kickoff?"
The Knowledge Hub query works across all your meetings, giving you a consolidated view of commitments and tasks without manually checking each recording.

Tips for Better Task Detection
- Speak clearly when assigning tasks ("John, can you take care of the proposal?")
- Mention deadlines explicitly ("We need this by next Wednesday")
- Summarize action items at the end of meetings. The AI picks these up with high accuracy.
- Use names when assigning to help the AI attribute correctly
